From stains to shine: getting the most out of a Safe-Dry carpet cleaning deal

From stains to shine: getting the most out of a Safe-Dry carpet cleaning deal

Open the coupons page in another tab before you call us. Then measure your rooms. Those two minutes will tell you more about what you'll pay than any ad, including ours.

People get frustrated with carpet cleaning prices when the number on the flyer and the number on the invoice don't match. Usually that's because nobody explained what the flyer number covered. So here's the math on each of our Safe-Dry® of Pearland offers, with the fine print read out loud.

The $88 three-room deal

The headline offer is 3 rooms cleaned for $88, based on 300 square feet total.

Three hundred square feet is three rooms of about 10 by 10 each. That covers a lot of secondary bedrooms in Pearland homes, and it's a good fit for a kids' wing or a guest room plus an office. Measure wall to wall and multiply. A 10 by 11 bedroom is 110 square feet. A 10 by 10 is 100. A 9 by 10 nursery is 90. Add those up and you're at exactly 300, all three covered by the $88.

Now the living room. Open-plan family rooms in Shadow Creek Ranch or Silverlake can easily run 16 by 18, which is 288 square feet on its own. That room alone eats almost the whole 300. If you're cleaning it plus two bedrooms, you're past the coupon's footage, and the extra area is priced on top. We don't publish a per-foot number here because the job details change it, but you'll hear the full total on site, room by room, before anything gets cleaned.

Two other lines in the fine print move the price:

  • Heavily soiled areas cost extra. A lane that hasn't been cleaned in four years takes more pre-treatment and more passes.
  • Pet treatment costs extra. The enzyme for urine spots is a separate treatment that goes down to the pad, and it isn't part of the $88 clean.

Minimum charges apply too, so one small bedroom on its own won't cost a third of $88. And the coupon has to be presented at the time of service. Mention it when you book and again when the technician arrives.

Adding pet treatment: $25 off

If you have a dog or cat and you know where the accidents happened, pet treatment is where a coupon pays off most for the money. The $25 off applies to our pet urine and odor treatment. Heavier contamination still costs more, and the minimum still applies, but on a house with a few known spots, $25 is a real share of that line.

My honest opinion: if there's urine in the carpet, do the pet treatment and skip anything else you were considering adding. Cleaning over urine without treating it gets the surface looking good and leaves the smell waiting for the next humid week.

Rugs and upholstery: $25 off each

There's a $25 off coupon for area and oriental rugs, cleaned in your home (we don't haul them away). There's a separate $25 off for upholstery, which covers sofas, sectionals and chairs. Both carry the same minimum charges and the heavier-soil clause.

Hard floors: $45 off tile, $50 off hardwood

Tile and grout gets $45 off. We use a machine buffer that scrubs buildup out of the grout lines, which is usually the part that has turned dark in a Texas kitchen. Hardwood gets $50 off for a pH-neutral clean that's safe on finished and engineered floors. These are the two largest dollar discounts on the page, so if you've been on the fence about either floor, that's worth knowing.

The part people miss: one offer at a time

Every one of these coupons says "not valid with other offers." Read that plainly: don't plan on stacking the $88 rooms with the $25 rug coupon and the $45 tile coupon on one ticket and assume the discounts add up. Ask when you book which single offer fits your job. I'd much prefer you hear that from me now.

So which deal saves the most? It depends on the job, but here's how I'd think about it:

  1. Mostly bedrooms, no pets: the $88 three-room deal, measured so the rooms land near 300 square feet.
  2. One big living area with pet spots: lead with the pet treatment and its $25 off, because that's the line that actually solves the problem.
  3. Kitchen grout that's gone brown: the $45 tile coupon is a bigger dollar discount than anything on the carpet side.
  4. A sofa the dog has claimed: the $25 upholstery coupon, booked on its own.

What you get for the money

Every job comes with the same process. Spots get pre-treated, a carbonated solution lifts soil up out of the fiber so it can be extracted, and nothing soapy is left behind to pull dirt back in. Carpets are usually dry in about an hour. The 100% satisfaction guarantee covers coupon jobs exactly like full-price ones.

Measure first, pick the one coupon that matches what's actually wrong with your floors, and bring it up on the phone at 281-506-4808. That's the whole trick.

We answer 24/7. Same-day visits are often possible, and if you would sooner book online, the scheduler takes a couple of minutes and shows the same openings our dispatcher sees. Either way, you get the price before we start.
